m Rahmen des FIT-Programms besuchten am 12.02.2008 15 Schülerinnen den Lehrstuhl für Metallurgie und informierten sich über das Studium. Nach einer Präsentation über die Teilbereiche der Metallurgie, konnten die Schülerinnen bei einem Thermitversuch in der Ofenhalle des Lehrstuhls auch gleich Praxisluft schnuppern.
Am 21.01.2008 stellte das Team Metallurgie seine Künste im Eisstockschießen zur Schau. Bernd, Jürgen, Sebastian, Stefan und Susanne zeigten vollen Einsatz. Trotz des Ausscheidens in der Vorrunde genossen alle Beteiligten den netten Abend und trainieren für ein besseres Abschneiden im nächsten Jahr.
