Since 2018 is Prof. Schenk appointed as Distinguished Professor of Wuhan University of Science and Technology (WUST). He was invited to Wuhan from October 9 to 12 and during this stay he participated at the Wuhan Annual Conference of Refractories. In the course of this conference he attended the 1st Academic Committee Meeting of the newly founded International Joint Laboratory of Refractories and Metallurgy at WUST. Prof Schenk held also a guest lecture to youth teachers and professors of WUST as well as for undergraduate students of the new international class for metallurgy at WUST.
