Christian Bernhard hatte die Ehre, im Zuge seiner Dienstreise nach China Gastvorträge an der USTB und Anhui University of Technology
in Ma´anchan  zu den Themen “Aspects of the transformation of steel production in Europe towards “Green steel”: How tramp elements can affect the casting and rolling process” und “Hybrid modelling of ladle treatment: How data driven approaches and thermo-dynamic modelling may complement each other in steel cleanness prediction.” zu halten. Besuche zu Nanjing Iron and Steel (NISCO) und LY Smart in Laodi boten die Möglichkeit für einen intensive, technischen Austausch im Bereich “Smart quality prediction in the continuous casting of advanced steel grades: Status and perspectives.”.
