Eva Gerold has been nominated for the SteirerinAWARDS2023 in the category “Visionary” , and YOU can support her with your vote.
She leads a research group at the Chair of Non-Ferrous Metallurgy at Montanuniversität Leoben, specializing in recycling lithium-ion batteries.
Her work aims to develop innovative and sustainable technologies to recover critical elements from batteries while minimizing the CO2 footprint.
Without such innovations, e-mobility and sustainable energy systems cannot be implemented.
