A long-planned event is over so quickly.
Three intensive days full of exciting programme points, inspiring presentations and interesting company tours lie behind us.
We welcomed participants from Germany, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Austria. The conference kicked off with the welcome evening at the Study Centre – a perfect opportunity to make new contacts and catch up with old friends. The following conference day offered students the opportunity to gain their first experience at a scientific conference and present their Bachelor’s/Master’s theses to an international audience.
The festive finale was the gala evening on Thursday at the Live Congress. After the introductory words of the organisation team, a greeting from the city of Leoben and an entertaining prize draw by our main sponsor voestalpine, the relaxed part of the evening followed, during which exciting conversations were deepened and new acquaintances strengthened.
We as the organisation team can look back on an all-round successful ISDM – and we are already looking forward to visiting our friends in Miskolc next year.
